High Style in the Hills Event Photos

On October 4, the Litchfield Aid hosted a gala evening and fashion show with live auction to benefit the Connecticut Junior Republic.

The fundraiser was held at Fairview Farm with Declan and Deborah Murphy acting as the chairpersons of the Honorary Committee. Alexander Duckworth was the evening’s host and Gina Duckworth acted as runway advisor. Fashions were provided by Litchfield merchants and designers.

An extraordinary evening, thanks to the kindness and generosity from many in the Litchfield community.

High Style in the Hills raised $97K, which is a record breaker for any Litchfield Aid event. The expenses were a very respectable 17% of gross, which results in a net amount of $80K. Together with income from the Aid’s endowment, member contributions, and proceeds of the evening, the Aid will present a total contribution of nearly $102,000 to CJR this year – the largest annual gift that the Aid has presented to CJR since its founding in 1911.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that The Aid thanks everyone for their support.

And now – for your viewing pleasure – High Style in the Hills – Runway Show.
